In the framework of a project launched in 2009 with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy, on 25-28 July 2010 took place the visit to Armenia of a delegation of the Arezzo based NGO “Rondine Cittadella della Pace”, led by the President Mr. Franco Vaccari. “Rondine” initiative is aimed at promoting a peaceful, civic overcoming of the Caucasian conflicts through the establishment of contacts between young students from various Nationalities of the region. To this purpose, in 2009 “Rondine” issued the “Document in 14 points for Peace in the Caucasus” which was successfully presented to the Armenian civil society during the visit. Moreover, the Italian NGO signed a cooperation agreement with the Linguistic State University “Brusov”, and the delegates were received by various Armenian Authorities, among them the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Karine Kazinyan, and the Deputy Minister of Diaspora, Mr. Vardan Marashlyan.
